“He’s made us for the answer. He knows how weak, exhausted, angry, wounded, confused, overwhelmed, or whatever we are that seems like it’s holding us back.”

This made me think about how much I drug my feet around resigning from my job. I write about it in my TBRI devotional. Being curious instead of furious. God wasn’t angry at me for dragging my feet, but slowly and graciously revealed to me why I was so scared to quit. And in that, I was able to obey Him, trust Him.

Such a great example. I think leaving something (like a job, or church, or bad relationship) is one of the hardest because we have all the reasons/excuses to stay, and we can convince ourselves it's the right thing to do when it's actually disobedience that's costing us joy and freedom.

For me, I've seen His grace in those situations by making me so uncomfortable to stay that I was finally eager to urgently go...and once I started picking up on those kinds of clues, I was able to leave those kinds of situations much faster.

This almost feels like a journal entry. It is so good. A comment a combination of introspection and observation directed both inward and outward….

Abiding is the key remaining connected through the Holy Spirit is an excellent observation. I still drive a big F350 crew cab pick up. But it is extremely useful so I don’t use it for commuting.🫣

You are a good listener..

I really enjoyed this…. I think I will need to read it a couple of times to absorb it fully.
