Keep coming back to your words about those who wonder about your qualifications to 'lead and minister and pray for healing' when you have children who have not yet been healed. I have prayed for healing and seen people be healed, but when I've prayed for my own healing, I'm still waiting and believing in the One who heals. Perhaps it is because the situation is too close and so personal that our prayers have not yet been answered. And it crossed my mind that perhaps those who are doing the wondering about us are the ones who need to be doing the praying for us - that they are the ones called to pray and not just wonder. Speculation is easy while doing the work of intercession and holding faith for the needs of others is hard.

Yes! So much truth here. I think I wrote about the aspect of us having more faith for others than ourselves in Oh My Soul -- because you're right, our own situations are often too close and too painful, and "hope deferred makes the heart sick"...so we become weary or worn down, or we get used to a hard situation. But when we look at someone else's, we can see with fresher eyes and faith.

Also, what you said about those who wonder about us is so good -- they should definitely be praying rather than judging and speculating. Good reminder for us, too. <3
