Here are my favorite books from last year: The ones I loved, the ones I’ll read again, and the ones that I think could change the world if more people read them.
Thanks for such a great list of books. All of them sound wonderful and I have only read one of them. I've already ordered An Everlasting Meal by Tamar Adler and should have it Friday! The preview alone on Amazon had so many great ideas for how to use what remains after the meal being prepared that I felt it was a cookbook I could actually put to good use. I have added most of the others to my wish list and hope to read them all this year.
Great list! I loved Howards End and should have a reread. I apparently need to read Miss Prim and Enchanted April because they keep being mentioned by readers I trust. And Wodehouse is always good for a laugh, so I will have to remember that title next time I need a light read. Currently, I am listening to Diane Setterfield’s Once Upon a River on audio. Although I am still about a quarter of the way from the end, I have loved it so much that I will hazard an early recommendation. If you are looking for more well-written modern storytelling, and you want something with a little mystery and maybe a little something supernatural, it will definitely fit the bill.

Thanks! I'll look for that one!
