“So many times I have looked in the wrong direction and put my identity and value in outcomes and output, rather than remembering that I am a vessel the Spirit flows through.”
🎯🎯🎯
And the battle continues over our thoughts. Funny how a lesson can be learned and forgotten only to have to learn it all over again. I relate to your daughter in this way- I, too, have to keep reading some of the same passages over and over and it’s like I’ve never read them before. Thankfully, God is mercifully patient as I struggle to keep things learned firmly in place...although I doubt He’s knitting granny squares while He’s waiting 😁 Those are lovely, by the way. Love the colors.
aaand as always the crux of every lesson keeps coming back to this- abiding and the renewing of our minds.
Thanks for highlighting this. As the kids say, “the struggle is real” ☺️
