Such a good, good word! It seems as though many have forgotten that Jesus said the world would know we are His disciples by the love we have for one another.

For those insistent on only using their particular Bible translation, I semi-sweetly asked if that meant that those in foreign countries had to learn English in order to read the 'correct' Bible so they could be saved - you know countries like China, Korea, Nigeria, and so on, where they are actually being tortured and killed for their faith - and they blocked me. Oh well.

Far too many of us have bruises from where we've been hit by the stones thrown at us. But God sees and heals us!

Yes! I have also been chewed out online for using the name “Jesus” instead of “Yeshua.” As though Jesus only knows Hebrew and that’s what we all have to learn to talk to Him. 😂

Go *on* record. Grrr why can’t I edit my comments? 🤪

Hover over comment, find 3 dots...select "edit" -- although it's probably different if you're on the phone in which case you can blame fat fingers. 😁

😁 Vince keeps telling me this too! I don’t know if it’s the operator (probably 😏) or I have some kind of jacked up substack settings or what, but when I do that 👆🏻 I don’t get an “edit” option. 🫤

I saw what ya did there at the end with the underlining 😏😎

You know I love this. But I’ll go record. 😂

We need more people boldly sharing this message and hopefully bringing the much-needed understanding and conviction 🤍

Yes sister and thank you! I was just thinking about this myself and it's very disheartening to see. Those things you have pointed out are just so irrelevant, unnecessary and non salvational issues and these people have obviously too much time on their hands. Those whom seem more righteous are not very loving at all and that is the exact problem they think that somehow they are more righteous. Then I get to the point of thinking is it even worth being on this platform. Because of all the challenge of who is better, who knows more, who has the best post, likes, and followers, subscribers etc when that is not what matters. It's just sends the wrong message. The world is misleading and deceiving will swallow us up and deceive us if we don't recognise it and do things with the right Godly motives & intentions with love. Just as the disciples wanting to know who is first. Many people who have a platform on the internet /social media act is if they are better or far superior or far more knowledgeable, know far more than those who just follow them. It's like the church buildings all over again they have memberships too becoming part of their gang or club.

When it comes to brothers and sisters straying because of pride, it can get very tricky. This view of one's success because of the number of likes and followers, subscribers is pure flesh. I mean I do pray to God that He use His servants to save as many souls as He wants but sometimes these same servants are causing much confusion to their followers when they suddenly let themselves be deceived by greed, pride and selfish ambition.

Many Men of God, brothers and sisters have forgotten that the only glory should go to Jesus. He sees our hearts but the devil is very crafty. I have had my big share of brothers and sisters who act with spiritual superiority instead of truly caring for lost souls for the sake of the kingdom of Jesus.

I pray that God corrects His children with a mighty hand, so that they and we are humbled down to the likeness of Christ and the innocence of unpretentious vulnerable children who work and move with incredible compassion and understanding yet upholfing God's truths, speaking them in love refusing to compromise or conform to simply be men pleasers or gain followers or mere converts but more importantly pleasers of God. And yes, we are to call out sin but with God's word with the fruits of the spirit with gentleness and deep respect. I think that can often be seen today as unloving when Gods word clearly states it is the most living thing we can do if we go about it in the right way and address that person personally, go lay their fault before them as Jesus stated in Matthew 18:15-18

I also have been there with my pride considering myself somehow special or in any way significant or important, when I am but a servant to all. Indeed I am nothing and Jesus is everything. The wrong heart attitudes especially of pride, it truly is wicked and has many dark fruits.

We pray Jesus has His way in His true church. You see clearly sister as you have written and that is a blessing in itself.

Words on a platform like this one has its own strength and advantages. I pray we both serve the Lord and the brethren by simply being witnesses for Jesus in all our thoughts reactions responses and how we live our lives moment by moment being holy spirit attuned and led.

May our father in Heaven, Almighty Cteator God bless you mightily dearest sister in Jesus Christ.

Thank you! Great thoughts. 🤍 Certain platforms seem more susceptible to this kind of conflict than others, at least in my experience. I’ve had great conversations here on Substack, minimal conflict on Telegram…praying we continue to mature and keep the love standard high.
