"And then the Spirit comes" Oh Shannon, you have written such a good word - when the Spirit comes, He simply leads us to do the next thing, whether it be laundry or dishes or story time or hugs and conversations and prayers with family and friends. These are the things that matter in the eyes of God - living thankfully and reverently in the trust that He is with us and we can "Stand firm, hold, and watch the Lord save [us]." The Spirit came and anointed your words with hope and peace for us in these tumultuous days.

I love when you said, "The daily small things we do are notes in the song as we march our days forward: making these sandwiches, learning this skill, memorizing that verse, reading those books with the kids, having that talk with a friend." Excellent article.

The story of King J is what got me through the worst of the plague. Take your place, stand firm, and see the wonder of the Lord. Your words are a comfort after last Saturday✝️ (I started the Our Father as soon as I saw the blood, literally crying out, my hubby looked at me and nodded)❤️‍🩹
