I’ll never forget the time I glanced up from holding my younger two girls over a touch pool at the aquarium to see my 5 year old son scooping his hand and drinking from the same tank. I was horrified and he defended, “But I was thirsty!” It was like a ticking time bomb waiting for the sickness to come. And it did. And we made it. So many instances of His mercies. Thank you for the reminder. ♥️
So dead on. Truly, it is like it says in 1 Peter 5 “But resist him, firm in your faith, knowing that the same experiences of suffering are being accomplished by your brethren who are in the world.”
I've been praying for a year for this young woman I met through my addict daughter's boyfriend on the street. The woman (K) was in a drug bust with my daughter's boyfriend (A) just before she met him. He had a lot of cash. She had a lot of dope. It was a trap house. She lost her son but got clean shortly after. She's been clean for over 2 years, and got her son back. A year ago she was going to sentencing hearing and was expected to get 8 years. A's charges were dropped. Then at Christmas her sentencing got postponed. In the spring they said 3 years which means going to a penitentiary here about 3 hours away. That's for hardened criminals. I told her I was praying that she would get off. I've witnessed to her. All summer she's fought depression and suicide over being separated from her 5 year old son. Last week I wrote a letter to the judge and kept praying. Today she messaged me from her hearing. She got 2 years house arrest!! No ankle bracelet and is allowed to go out once a week with her son! She broke down sobbing in the Courtroom and posted on her Facebook that God answers prayer! So happy for her. She wants to go back to school to be an addictions counselor. She's going to be amazing!

Love you friend.
Such a great verse. Love you back!
Four sons. It was the ABC chewing gum from under the pew that freaked me out.
God answered a year of prayers so wildly today that I have no doubt that he will answer all the others. We forget His goodness so easily don't we?
Ohh, I love hearing about a wildly answered prayer! 🙌🏻👏🏻🤍
